Family Alliance’s Behavioral Health Services program provides outpatient mental health services to community members who are experiencing difficulties due to mental illness.

Services are personalized to the needs of each participant by assessing his/her strengths, abilities and preferences. A comprehensive plan is then developed to help achieve stabilization, avoid crisis, and avoid expensive inpatient interventions. Behavioral Health and Counseling Services include individual counseling and therapy, psychosocial rehabilitation groups, community support, and case management. Geriatric psychiatry is available for individuals experiencing symptoms of a mental health diagnosis or symptoms of a neurocognitive disorder.

Family Alliance also offers caregiver and grief support groups. Caregiver support groups are facilitated by individuals who have been caregivers. Licensed Clinical Social Workers are available for individual caregiver counseling upon request.
